My finish: Block print - wooden block printing is a traditional form of fabric design used in countries like India. The block are hand carved from a piece of wood stamped onto fabric. This fabric may have variations in colour, texture and finish due to it being handmade.
Dobby is an intricate weave, which is created by using a special dobby loom. The pattern is woven directly onto the fabric. The end result is textured and slightly raised.
